Blessing Envelopes

During the month of July, we have an opportunity to show Nameoki a little extra love and have a bit of fun doing it.  We have prepared 100 envelopes for this special event.  Each envelope has a different number from 1 to 100 inside of it. There is only 1 with number 1, 1 with number 2, 1 with number 3, etc.  There is also only 1 with number 100.

If you want to participate, pick an envelope and contribute the amount of dollars listed inside.  It will be any whole dollar amount from 1 to 100.   All but one of you will have an amount smaller than 100.   Of course, you could partner with others and pick an envelope or more and split the total.  Envelopes will be available in the Narthex after church during July or until they have all been picked whichever comes first.

The Wesleyan Journey:
A Workbook on Salvation

Capes of Courage

Our “Cape Ladies” make capes, shorts, Christmas stockings or anything that is needed to assist organizations or individuals that request their help.

This year, they have donated capes to Wings of St. Louis. The Wings program provides pediatric palliative and hospice care to children and their families while they cope with an acute, chronic or terminal illness. With the loose change they purchase material, thread, and other sewing items to fulfill the orders. See Linda Wozniak for more information.
